Safety & Security

  • Secure entrances and upgrade fire suppression systems
  • Upgrade communications systems
  • Asbestos abatement

Scappoose Middle School

  • Replace the 92-year-old Scappoose Middle School with a new, safe school adjacent to the High School
  • Expanded athletic facilities with new middle school track and football/soccer field; resurfaced turf baseball field and new turf softball field

Expand Student Opportunities

  • Remodel Career and Technical Education spaces
  • Additional classrooms at SHS for science, band and choir
  • Additional access to band and choir, math, and CTE programs for middle school students

Update & Repair Aging Schools 

  • New roofs
  • Electrical, lighting, flooring updates
  • Upgraded HVAC and air quality with expanded air conditioning in classroom spaces
  • Repair and update sidewalks and parking lots
